What a Wonderful Christmas

A few months ago my RS president asked me what size of clothing my kids wear. She said someone in the stake wanted to give us something for Christmas. Last year we got 3 present, so I expected, I don't know, about the same. Well, we are not rich but have always been able to get something for each person in our family. This year however we only got things for our kids. Now I know its not about the present, but when you have children, and your own childhood Christmas memories are not the best, you try to do as much as you can so your children have it better than you. Anyway, Monday night, this week there was a knock at the door, and when I opened it, there stood 3 people with gifts in hand. We went from having 1 gift under the tree, to having to put gifts on our table and top of the tv, there where somany presents I couln't believe it. The best part was Alans face when he saw them. And when he thanked me, I said to him, well we didn't buy any of these present, we have to thank Jesus when we pray tonight. So, a few minutes later, after the people where gone and we set the presents under the tree, he went to his room where he has a picture of Jesus and while he held the picture in his hand and looked into Jesus' eyes I heard him say, Thank you Jesus, thank you. We don't know who sent these present and we know its all about remembering the birth of our Savior and althoug we were on the receiving end of this service, it truly brings a new meaning to the words "Its better to give than to receive" because the person who did this for us will be receiving much more from the Lord. May God bless you and your families this Christmas season

I feel like we just came home from the hospital. Time has gone by so fast. He is not a baby any more he is a Big Boy with too much energy and a love for reading that I sure hope just keeps growing we love you Buddy. We had Thanksgiving at home just the four of us we had it at our place last year too,but i forgot to take pictures, and this year in the rush of things I only took one picture so here they are.

Our First Blog: Holloween

Ok, so I know Thanksgiving is 1 week away, but I had to post these pictures of Holloween. We set out to make our kids costumes and they turned out pretty good (if I say so my self). We walked for almost 2 hours and got lots of candy. Every time we asked Alan if he wanted to sit in the stroller he said no, then we got to the last house, got our candy and told him that we were done and he finally said "I'm tired, I wana go home."Any way, we had lots of fun, here are some pictures. In case you can't tell, Faye was a bee and Alan was Optimus Prime from the Movie Transformers. The last picture of Alan was his first costume and the first picture was the remake, he was more comfortable in it.
